Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Manager

Domus Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead our newly developed Residential service for adults with Mental Health needs in Bexhill, East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day running of the service to ensure high-quality, safe care and support in accordance with CQC standards.
  • Lead by example in the management of employees, including regular supervision and handling disciplinary issues.
  • Take overall responsibility for health and safety, including risk assessments and CQC requirements.
  • Create and update support plans for all service users, ensuring they are shared and adhered to.
  • Support service users with individual health needs, including organizing support from healthcare professionals and managing medications.
  • Manage the budget for the service, including voids and staffing.
  • Plan and deliver in-house training to staff, covering general principles and specific examples of good practice.
  • Communicate confidently with Care Managers, professionals, and families.
  • Ensure the service is staffed adequately at all times.
  • Be fully conversant with the CQC inspection process and able to prove compliance.
Requirements
  • Management experience in Health and Social Care, ideally in Residential services.
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current CQC care standards.
  • Computer literate with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of note-taking and record-keeping.
  • Caring, patient, and approachable, with awareness of confidentiality.
  • Experience of managing training and HR issues, and safe recruitment processes.
