About the Role

Fawkes and Reece, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to join their team for a large-scale industrial project in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all engineering activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Manage site surveys, setting out, and quality control to ensure accurate and precise execution of the project.
  • Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Monitor construction progress, identifying any deviations from the plans, and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and site staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer working on large-scale projects with deep earthworks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering would be desirable.
