Position Summary:

We are looking for a Predictive Modeling Expert to join our team at Aspire Data Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing predictive models, e.g. Scorecards, using statistical tools and techniques. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge analytics team using data and analytics to guide business decisions to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop predictive models, e.g. Scorecards, using statistical tools and techniques.
  • Use machine learning and advanced analytical techniques (KNN, XGBoost, etc.) to increase prediction accuracy.
  • Improve existing models and create new tools/models for analysis and valuate potential accounts/portfolios. Test and validate results.
  • Present and explain valuations and predictions to Investment Committee and Stakeholders.
  • Analyse data and raw information through statistical analysis to discover trends and patterns that can be used to extract valuable business insights.
  • Collaborate with internal Analytical Labs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Data Science and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with large data sets and applying quantitative analysis/modelling to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in statistical computing languages R, Python or SAS to manipulate data and draw insights.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL) is a plus.
  • Solid problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on timely analysis.
  • Interest in model development and a willingness to learn.
  • Integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency, with a thorough understanding of quantitative analysis from the banking and finance industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £55,000 + bonus & benefits, offering a competitive package.
