Gatehouse Security Personnel

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Gatehouse Security Operative to join our team at Connect Appointments. As part of our client's security operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of their premises.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of £11.71 with opportunities for shift allowances, reaching up to £13.58 per hour after six weeks.

Your key responsibilities as a Gatehouse Security Operative will include:

• Opening and closing all site access points
• Operating fire and intruder alarm systems
• Managing deliveries, dispatches, contractors, and visitors through our booking system
• Receiving and logging phone calls, contacting relevant managers or team leaders as necessary
• Conducting regular perimeter checks, documenting any findings on our system
• Ensuring fire hydrants are clear of obstructions
• Performing internal site checks
• Monitoring CCTV footage, reporting suspicious activities
• Assisting with warehouse duties, including checking orders before dispatch, pallet wrapping, and inventory counting

To succeed in this role, you will need a valid driving license, access to your own vehicle, and ideally experience working in a warehouse environment. Being computer literate and able to work varied shifts on a rotational basis is essential.
