Academic Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Academic Support Assistant to join our team. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11-16, including those preparing for GCSEs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings.
  • Support struggling students to achieve their potential, while instilling an interest for learning in them.
  • Contribute to a well-rounded education experience for students, including practical and theoretical tasks.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in an academic subject from a well-regarded university.
  • Previous relevant experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work closely with students, teachers, and other education support staff.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time, long-term position starting September 2024 (to run for the full academic year).
  • Earn up to £470 per week as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
  • Opportunity to gain long-term classroom experience and develop your own skillset.
