Job Summary

This role involves working as an Accounts Assistant within a reputable company, supporting the Head of Finance and contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial services to clients. The successful candidate will have excellent numerical skills and be proficient in accounting software.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements on a regular basis.
  • Manage Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger, ensuring efficient payment processing and credit note management.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance to implement effective Credit Control strategies.
  • Process construction contract applications for payment.
  • Conduct job costing and manage accruals, prepayments, and stock take/processing/valuations.

Salary and Benefits

  • A very competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in PL & SL.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Working Hours

">
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
