Manage a Successful Team of Social Workers

Hampshire County Council is seeking exceptional professionals to manage one of our new Family Help Teams.

This will include managing a team of Social Workers, Family Support Workers and ensuring that high standards are met in delivering a social work service to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of experienced Social Workers in delivering a high-quality social work service to children and families.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and experienced Social Workers with previous experience as an Assistant Team Manager in Children's Social Care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate staff and communicate passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Budget management experience is desirable but not essential.
