Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and transportation.
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • No 'DD' or 'DR' driving offenses.
  • Driver Qualification Card.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Valid CPC.
  • Minimum 1 year UK Class 1 driving experience.
  • UK right to work.
  • Good knowledge of tacho/working time directive.
  • Customer-friendly manner and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously.
  • Excellent time-keeping skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
