Sports Entertainment Developer

We are Buzz 16, a leading sports entertainment company that creates innovative content for linear and digital platforms. We're looking for a talented Assistant Producer - Development to join our team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role involves developing and pitching ideas, researching concepts, and writing decks. You'll work closely with our Head of Development to bring new content ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and writing up brand new content ideas for linear and digital platforms
  • Compiling pitch slates for different broadcasters
  • Responding to brand briefs for our own YouTube Channels
  • Bringing ideas to life by designing and writing decks
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients

Requirements:

  • You have a keen eye and love for sports
  • You have a strong understanding of talent in the sporting and entertainment space
  • We'd love you to have experience in a similar role, good knowledge of the sporting world, and excellent English writing skills
  • You have a strong understanding of the live and non-live sport TV landscape, as well as understanding both traditional and SVOD broadcasters
  • You're proactive, hands-on, and a team player
  • You successfully communicate your ideas and apply critical thinking in your work
  • You have a keen eye for trends and themes and enjoy creating innovative visual proposals through extensive research, exploration, and visual development
  • You understand CANVA
  • It would be amazing if you also know Photoshop/InDesign
