**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist the Flood Risk Manager in delivering the flood risk functions, duties and responsibilities to enable delivery of the Cheshire East Flood Risk Management Strategy.
- To lead the design and development of innovative flood risk management projects while providing expert engineering advice on a wide range of regulatory flood risk and drainage issues.
- To provide technical advice on the implementation of the Surface Water Management Plan and Local Flood Risk Strategy, including advising on the requirements for flood risk management, revenue and capital improvements and mitigation that can be implemented through the statutory planning process.
The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
