Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Pension AdministrationEnsure all pension contributions and benefits are correctly calculated and disbursed, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Staff SupportAddress payroll and pension-related queries from staff members, providing clear and concise information and support.
Compliance and AuditsAssist with annual audits and compliance checks, ensuring our payroll processes meet all statutory requirements.
Record KeepingUpdate and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
CollaborationWork closely with the HR and Finance department to coordinate on staff benefits and compensation, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Continuous ImprovementContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function, identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing changes.
Requirements
- Education
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with a certification in Payroll (CIPP) being a desirable asset.
ExperienceExcellent and recent experience in payroll and pension management is essential, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
KnowledgeExcellent knowledge of taxes and legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
SkillsAbility to use a variety of payroll software and systems, with a strong understanding of data management and record keeping.
Personal QualitiesCommitment to upholding the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data, with a strong sense of professionalism and discretion.
