At Jameson Legal Tech, we are looking to hire an experienced Digital Discovery Specialist to join our team in London.

This is a brand-new role that has arisen due to the continued growth of our digital discovery services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end management of digital discovery projects, including scoping, budgeting, timeline management, and client reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading end-to-end management of digital discovery projects, including scoping, budgeting, timeline management, and client reporting. Working closely with legal teams and clients to ensure that project goals are met within agreed timelines.
  • Overseeing the collection, preservation, and processing of electronic data. Ensuring defensibility and accuracy, maintaining a complete chain-of-custody for all data collected.
  • Managing digital discovery platforms, ensuring data is processed, loaded, and maintained for review and analysis.
  • Designing and implementing workflows for document reviews, ensuring processes align with best practices, firm policies, and legal standards.
  • Coordinating with external service providers for tasks such as electronic disclosure, translations, and forensic analysis.
  • Conducting quality checks on processed data and review output, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Generate reports and status updates for clients and internal teams.
  • Providing user support and training to internal teams and clients on digital discovery tools, review platforms, and data-sharing solutions. Troubleshooting any issues and managing expectations across all parties involved.

We are offering a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

To be considered for this role, you should have solid digital discovery knowledge supported by a relevant professional qualification and/or experience in using industry-recognised digital discovery platforms. You should also have proven experience managing large, complex digital discovery projects from start to finish, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.

A developed understanding of other technologies and services used by leading law firms in dealing with digital evidence, including but not limited to computer forensics, digital discovery review platforms and electronic bundles, would be desirable.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be organised, attentive to detail and work well under pressure. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
