An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support pupils in a Primary School.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide one-on-one and small group assistance to students from Year 6, enhancing their engagement and focus on tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management, ensuring a smooth learning environment.
  2. Providing tailored support to students, promoting social skills and appropriate behavior.
  3. Supporting students with diverse abilities and learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
  4. Serving as a role model, demonstrating high standards of behavior and social conduct.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience working as a KS2 Teaching Assistant is essential, showcasing their ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic school environment.
  2. Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, enabling them to prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Superior communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with staff and students.
  4. Flexibility to adjust to the ever-changing needs of the school community.
  5. A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
