Project Supervisor Opportunity at EQUANS

EQUANS is seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to join our team in Stoke. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Procuring and monitoring all handback works activity through to completion
  • Monitoring sub-contractor performance, focusing on the delivery of planned works, including lifecycle and additional works
  • Accountable to the Project Manager for day-to-day supervision, monitoring, and performance of sub-contractors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day organization of lifecycle projects to meet contractual agreements
  • Assist in preparing commercial sub-contracts
  • Oversee all contract activities to ensure safety aspects are managed and monitored according to site procedures and requirements
  • Take ownership of client needs and pursue effective communications to build a stable relationship
  • Operate EQUANS QA procedures and maintain clear, legible records as required
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems
  • Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams, and communicate, present, and report technical information
  • Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems through to satisfactory conclusion

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications preferred
  • Professional qualifications, or working towards, MBIFM/CMI or similar
  • Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service. Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage
  • Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment
  • Demonstrable experience in Project management, formal qualifications would be preferable
  • Competent in use of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel to produce accurate and well-presented text, data, and pictorial reports

This role includes an enhanced DBS check with barred lists, therefore ability to pass is essential.
