Handy Care Assistant

About the Role:
Our care home is looking for a skilled Handy Person to join its team. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the property estate, including the surrounding gardens, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
You will take pride in the Home that you maintain, and your tasks will include the maintenance of heating and lighting, the overall fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems, and completing all relevant health and safety checks.
As a member of our team, you will work alongside other colleagues who are passionate about providing a safe environment, warmth, and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes.

About You:
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar maintenance role, with strong practical skills and the ability to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.
As a confident and positive individual with good communication skills, you will be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your work schedules to meet the needs of the Home and its residents.
