Clinical Research Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Practitioner to join our team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a portfolio of clinical research studies, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and research excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage a portfolio of clinical research studies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of research projects.
- Work collaboratively with research teams and multidisciplinary teams to identify and recruit suitable patients for clinical trials.
- Ensure patients are fully informed and empowered to make decisions about their involvement in clinical trials, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
- Participate in the informed consent process, ensuring adherence to UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
- Evaluate patient eligibility and safe entry to clinical trials, coordinating investigations and arranging appointments as required.
- Register and randomize patients into clinical trial protocols, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to patients and their carers, addressing practical and emotional needs related to clinical trial participation.
- Collect and handle blood samples as required, adhering to clinical trial protocols and ensuring safe storage and handling of specimens.
