Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial conveyancing department, you will be responsible for managing a full caseload of commercial conveyancing matters and progressing cases from start to finish with minimal supervision.

You will work closely with the Head of Department to ensure the successful development of the department in line with the company's business plan. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of commercial conveyancing matters
  • Progressing cases from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Performing fee-earning work accurately and reliably
  • Ensuring proper control of work in progress, billing, and recovery of fees
  • Having strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Having excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach to your work
  • Being proficient in legal research and drafting

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will also be expected to:

  • Assist the Head of Department with the management of junior team members
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the area of law and ensure compliance with CPD requirements
