Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled OBD Calibration Engineer to join our automotive engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our vehicles meet regulatory requirements and deliver exceptional performance.

  • Develop and calibrate OBD strategies for engine management systems
  • Analyze and interpret data from vehicle testing and diagnostic tools to identify issues and potential solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements to the OBD system
  • Conduct emissions testing and validation of OBD systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to OBD calibration
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and field engineering teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive calibration or related field
  • Strong knowledge of engine management systems and on-board diagnostics (OBD)
  • Experience with calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, or similar software
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as CANape or CANalyzer
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
  • Knowledge of emissions regulations (EPA, CARB) and certification processes is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
