Learning Support Specialist

We are Academics Ltd, a leading educational institution seeking an exceptional Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Stevenage. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
The successful candidate will lead small group interventions, deliver pre-planned lessons, and provide targeted support to students with additional needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading small group interventions to enhance student learning and development.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff, ensuring effective curriculum delivery.
- Providing individualized support to students with special educational needs and English as an Additional Language, promoting their inclusion and progress.
- Assisting in lesson planning, preparation, and assessment, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This role requires a HLTA qualification or equivalent experience working in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of primary curriculum frameworks and teaching strategies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.
