Job Title: Network and Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Infrastructure and Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning, designing, and implementing network upgrades and expansions using Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement network upgrades and expansions using Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
  • Conduct thorough network assessments and analyze current infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed upgrade project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
  • Perform testing and validation of network configurations before deployment to minimize disruption.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after the upgrade process.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Cisco products, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network performance and security.
  • Train and mentor junior network engineers and IT staff on Cisco networking principles and practices.

Requirements:

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in network design, implementation, and upgrades with a focus on Cisco products.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, and related networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
  • Experience with network security technologies.
