We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Fruition IT.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a bespoke SaaS product, utilizing Terraform as the infrastructure as code and Node JS as the backend framework, deployed on an AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into a scalable software platform.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to deliver software solutions.
  • Implement continuous integration to enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Develop high-performance backend software in Java for a high-load environment.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
  • Work within an AWS environment, leveraging cloud-based technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript development.
  • Strong experience with NodeJS and Terraform.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React on the frontend.
  • Good cloud exposure, preferably in AWS, but Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MySQL.
  • Experience in microservices and REST APIs.
