Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfilling registration requirements and performance standards as set by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
  • Completing assessments, support plans, and risk assessments for our service users.
  • Delivering high-quality support services that meet the needs of our service users.
  • Maintaining high standards and best practices across the service.
  • Familiarizing all employees with company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance.
  • Supporting, developing, and managing support staff within the service area.
  • Maintaining accurate records, monitoring, and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Providing leadership and consultation to the team, including supervisions and appraisals.
  • Working with the recruitment team to select and hire potential staff.
  • Completing and submitting reports and records to regulating bodies as required.
  • Managing the rota coordination team to ensure timely rotas for staff.
  • Holding regular staff and management meetings.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a management role, preferably in a domiciliary or residential service.
  • Computer literacy, strong relationship building skills, and customer service skills.
  • Confidence, reliability, and a drive for success.
