Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancer to join our dynamic and growing team in Godstone. As a Conveyancing Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Liaison: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide clear, professional advice on conveyancing matters.
- Transaction Management: Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
- Document Preparation: Draft and review contracts, title documents, and other legal paperwork using our case management systems.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all conveyancing transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the property transaction.
- Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress using our case management system.
Requirements
- 2 years PQE or similar
- Previous experience handling your own caseload and comfortable working with both regulated and non-regulated colleagues.
- Experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions and remortgage.
