Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancer to join our dynamic and growing team in Godstone. As a Conveyancing Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Liaison: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide clear, professional advice on conveyancing matters.
  • Transaction Management: Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and review contracts, title documents, and other legal paperwork using our case management systems.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all conveyancing transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the property transaction.
  • Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress using our case management system.

Requirements

  • 2 years PQE or similar
  • Previous experience handling your own caseload and comfortable working with both regulated and non-regulated colleagues.
  • Experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions and remortgage.
