Private Equity Valuations Specialist

As a Private Equity Valuations Specialist at S&P Global, you will be part of a market-leading team that supports clients with independent valuations of illiquid debt and private equity investments.
The TeamThe Private Markets team represents a high-growth area with increasing demand for independent specialists like S&P Global. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic space and interact with leading clients across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, hedge funds, and institutional investors.
Responsibilities- Perform complex valuations on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies using accepted and relevant approaches.
- Present analyses and conclusions through written reports and handle valuation queries from clients.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of financial models used to perform valuations.
- Work with management to build and maintain client relationships.
- Attend industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry.
- A qualified accountant or CFA charterholder (or in process of obtaining qualification).
- Multiple years' experience constructing and reviewing valuation models, including DCF, comparable company/bond, and option pricing models.
- Experience managing delivery of valuations and responding to client challenges.
- Knowledge of software packages, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt and support new business opportunities.
