Unlock Your Potential as a Statistician at GSK

We are seeking a highly skilled statistician to join our global Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) group, dedicated to supporting the development of manufacturing and associated processes required to bring a physical medicinal product to market.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to collaborate with scientists in multidisciplinary teams, designing experiments, analyzing data, and visualizing results. Our team is part of GSK's Biostatistics function - a large group of statisticians, programmers, and data scientists with the mission to put statistical thinking at the heart of R&D decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with GSK scientists and leadership to answer pivotal CMC questions using a wide range of statistical methodologies.
  • Employ established statistical techniques or innovate novel methodologies to tackle scientific issues and contribute to regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with other in-house quantitative groups to achieve shared goals.
  • Examine relevant literature and perform simulations to assess the applicability of statistical methods to CMC challenges.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field with formal statistical training.
  • Evidence of innovation and technical strength in advanced statistical modeling and/or modern design techniques.
  • Experience writing code in R or SAS.
  • Track record of strong academic performance.
Why GSK?

We are a global biopharma company with a special purpose - to unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together. We prevent and treat disease with vaccines, specialty, and general medicines. We focus on the science of the immune system and the use of new platform and data technologies, investing in four core therapeutic areas.

We want GSK to be a place where people feel inspired, encouraged, and challenged to be the best they can be. A place where they can be themselves - feeling welcome, valued, and included. Where they can keep growing and look after their wellbeing.
