Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a tailored learning environment that fosters the student's academic growth and overall well-being.
  • Implement individualised education plans, adapting to the student's unique needs and promoting their independence.
  • Develop and maintain a supportive relationship with the student, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably with a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • A deep understanding of special education practices, strategies, and philosophies.
