Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support in Year 1 at a school in Hyde. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school with motivated and engaged pupils and supportive families.

The Role:

  • Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and methods to support this.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
