Streetcare Operative – Gardener

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our Streetcare team as a Grounds Maintenance Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake routine maintenance of parks, open spaces, and green environments, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and leaf clearance.
- Operate commercial powered hand tools and equipment, such as brush cutters, powered pruners, and pedestrian mowers.
- Assist in the collection of fly tips and emptying of bins.
- Work safely and follow health and safety regulations, including wearing high visibility clothing and PPE.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a gardening or grounds maintenance role.
- Full UK driving licence and experience of driving a long wheelbase transit (style) tipper.
- Ability to follow works instructions accurately and complete records accurately.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
