Job Description

At OW Ocean Winds, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Asset Management Specialist to join our Commercial Asset Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the management of our expanding offshore windfarm portfolio in Scotland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Settlement Process Management: Manage timely settlement processes related to our offshore wind projects, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Contracts for Difference (CFDs).
  • Commercial Asset Management: Prepare project processes for commercial asset management, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Business Planning and Budgeting: Support the Asset Director in delivering budgets and business plans, and work with the Operations and Asset Management teams to deliver asset value.
  • Commercial Operations Support: Provide wider Commercial Asset Management support of Ocean Winds' development pipeline, working closely with external stakeholders to oversee daily settlement operations for offshore wind energy transactions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze settlement data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Automated Settlement Solutions: Assist in the development and implementation of automated settlement solutions, and maintain accurate records and documentation for commercial asset management activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, and assist in audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis and reporting in the energy sector, or trading/contract settlement in the energy sector.
  • Education: Educated to degree level, preferably in a STEM subject.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial software, PowerBI, and Excel.
