About This Role

This position plays a vital part in the success of our warehouse operations, working closely with the Warehouse Manager/Team leader to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are met efficiently. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, this role could be perfect for you.

Job Responsibilities
  • Main Activities:
  • Develop and promote business objectives while demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to achieving and surpassing them.
  • Participate in regular status reviews with line management and relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with line management to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, ensuring they remain up-to-date and prominently displayed.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of work requirements and duties, receiving proper supervised training as required by the company's training policies.
  • Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Verify that items picked match those described on the picking note.
  • Pick and pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Arrange for certification issuance as detailed on the picking note.
  • Pack similar-sized parts from different manufacturers within a single consignment to maintain their segregation.
  • Loading goods onto transport within deadlines.
  • Continuously inspect labels for damage and request replacements as needed.
  • Cover for envoys when required, subject to relevant licenses held.
  • Unloading goods delivered.
  • Confirming that received goods match advised quantities and due dates.
  • Recording products on the system, batching boxes as necessary, passing samples and paperwork to inspection.
  • Storing goods away in picking or pallet locations or transferring to boxing or subcontract operations.
  • Confirming receipt of documentation accompanying deliveries, including material certificates and test certificates.
  • Repacking bulk product into smaller quantities to meet company or customer requirements.
  • Filling boxing machine hoppers as necessary for waste management.
  • Moving boxed goods to designated storage locations.
  • Resolving discrepancies noted during picking.
  • Alerting line managers to potential stock shortages.
