Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Team Lead to lead a small but proactive team, driving and tracking sales within the UK market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales account management and winning new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Active Accounts: Ensure retention and generate new leads and business opportunities.
- Lead by Example: Manage a small Sales team and be responsible for a key territory within the UK.
- Develop and Deliver Sales Strategy: Work with the Head of Sales/Managing Director to develop and deliver on the annual sales strategy.
- Provide Sales Forecast Information: Provide relevant sales forecast information to the Procurement team in good time.
- Team Performance: Keep management updated on team performance and make recommendations for any change required to ensure that the brand sales targets are met.
- Customer Service: Maintain exceptional customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer queries/complaints.
- Monthly Sales Meeting: Chair monthly sales meeting, joined by the sales team, Sales Director, and Managing Director, providing all team data ahead of time to the EA team for inclusion on the agenda.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years in Sales Leadership: Proven track record in sales account management and winning new business.
- Self-Disciplined: Self-disciplined person who takes full personal responsibility for own performance and team performance.
