Leadership Opportunity in Mental Health Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to take on a critical leadership role within our Acute Directorate. As a Matron, you will be responsible for overseeing two wards, ensuring high-quality care for patients, and empowering nurses to take on a wider range of clinical duties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational line management of Ward Managers
  • Leading by example and ensuring patients receive high-quality care
  • Ensuring staffing is appropriate to patient needs
  • Improving 'Team areas' cleanliness and ensuring patients' nutritional needs are met
  • Resolving problems for patients and their relatives by building closer relationships
  • Preventing hospital-acquired infection
Requirements
  • NMC registration
  • Senior nursing leadership experience
Salary and Benefits

Salary: £53,755 to £60,504 a year plus 1% on-call allowance
