Senior QS

• Provide commercial support for highways projects, including cost management, value management, and risk assessment.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies.
• Manage the procurement process for project requirements, ensuring that all involved understand allowances for items they are responsible for and procedures to follow.
• Prepare interim and final accounts, financial reports, and cost/value reconciliations.
• Support the Commercial Manager in identifying, preparing, and negotiating claims.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree in a relevant field (Civil Engineering) and 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong commercial skills, including cost management, value management, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
