We are seeking a highly skilled Physics Educator to join our team at an Ormskirk secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4 students, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons.

The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge of Physics and excellent behaviour management skills. They will also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum.

The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals
  • Providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
