Teaching Opportunity in English at South Staffordshire College

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of English to join our progressive and forward-thinking team at South Staffordshire College. As a leading provider of education and training, we pride ourselves on developing the skills and knowledge that young people and adults need to succeed in the world of work.

The successful candidate will have a related degree, a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS), and experience of teaching in either the FE or Schools' sector. Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for the post.

The role involves creating and delivering an inspiring and carefully sequenced curriculum to 16-18 and adult groups across a range of our campuses and during daytime and evening hours. The successful candidate will be confident and able to implement up-to-date teaching and learning pedagogy, both within the classroom and through online learning mediums.

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and the successful candidate will work closely with their English and maths coordinator, as well as Head of English and maths, to ensure the department continues to move forward in this exciting curriculum area.
