About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Bioresources team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites in Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing fault diagnostics and repairs on mechanical Bioresources assets
- Completing multi-skill electrical training to enhance technical expertise
- Supporting Severn Trent's drive to improve safety standards and ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner
- Participating in a standby rota to provide flexibility and support to the team
Requirements
- Completed time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade
- Experience in fault finding of mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets
- Working knowledge of process control systems and industrial equipment, such as mechanical drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements/standards and an NVQ level in mechanical qualification
- Full UK Driving License
