Financial Administrator with Accounts Assistant Experience

Are you an experienced Financial Administrator looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Wokingham. The role involves providing financial support to our business, including bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and posting purchase ledger invoices.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment from clients.
- Coding and reconciling supplier statements.
- Reviewing aged creditors and submitting monthly VAT returns.
- Preparing prepayment and accruals schedules.
- Posting month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
The successful candidate will have:
- A part-qualified AAT or AAT studies qualification.
- A basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Previous experience in the purchase ledger.
- A capacity to learn new systems quickly.
- Proficiency in Excel and good attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.
