Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at HMP Preston, a category B Prison located in Preston.

The successful candidate will be based in the 18-bedded unit within the prison environment and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Conduct health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide safe and effective care to patients.
  • Be accountable for own practice, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse: NMC registered.
  • Previous experience as a practice nurse.
  • Diabetes Diploma/Module.
  • QUOF knowledge and implementation.
  • Experience in long-term conditions.
  • Immunisations and vaccination trained.
