Financial Services Coordinator

This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in financial services and Sage 50 Payroll, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing both AP and AR processes, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and customer receipts.
- Accurately book in deliveries and allocate them to appropriate projects.
- Reconcile delivery notes with purchase orders and supplier monthly statements.
- Generate sales orders and ensure they are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with credit control by monitoring outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and managing customer accounts.
- Process and submit payroll and pension reports using Sage 50 Payroll.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions, providing clear and timely information.
- Analyse and balance petty cash and company credit cards on a regular basis.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with Sage 50 Payroll software is essential.
- Solid understanding of both AP and AR processes.
- Experience in a financial services environment.
- High level of accuracy in processing financial transactions and reconciling data.
- Ability to analyse financial data, manage credit control, and assist with financial reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers/customers.
- Proactive approach to identifying discrepancies and resolving financial issues.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
