Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our team at Centara Engineering Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geomatics and surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys, including fieldwork and post-processing, to ensure accurate and reliable data
  • Manage and train junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively
  • Establish control networks and monitor 2D and 3D data to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Utilize a range of survey equipment, including Total Stations and GPS, to collect and process data
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Travel extensively throughout the UK, with some overnight stays, to conduct surveys and manage projects

Requirements:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in geomatics and surveying, with a strong background in AutoCAD and survey processing software
  • Excellent knowledge of topographical surveys, with experience of working in a range of environments
  • Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel extensively
  • Experience of n4ce software and Total Station setting out, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols
