Drama Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at a prestigious mixed school in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 levels.

About the Role

The Drama Teacher will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, develop and implement engaging curriculum plans, and assess student progress. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Drama education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Drama at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans
  • Contribute to the development of the school's Drama department
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • A passion for Drama education and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons
