Maintenance Operations Specialist

We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our client's team in West Sussex. This exciting role offers the ideal opportunity for an individual with exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and functional work environment, working closely with the Facilities Team to coordinate maintenance activities. This includes scheduling routine inspections, managing emergency repairs, and collaborating on Health and Safety compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Scheduling & Coordination: Develop, manage, and optimize maintenance schedules to ensure regular upkeep and timely repairs.
- Vendor & Inventory Management: Establish strong relationships with vendors and maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- Safety Compliance & Inspections: Collaborate with the Facilities Team on Health and Safety compliance, conduct regular safety inspections, and address any concerns promptly.
- Budget & Cost Management: Support the Facilities Manager in preparing the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Emergency Response: Lead emergency maintenance activities, coordinating resources for quick and effective solutions.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, inspections, and repairs; assist with Reception Desk cover as needed.
