CV Library is seeking a skilled Industrial Control Panel Specialist to join a leading engineering and maintenance provider in St Helens. This permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation panels/systems on-site and in-house. Additionally, they will assist in building and wiring control panels when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect and test industrial control panels to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  2. Commission systems, including instrumentation and control panel wiring.
  3. Assist in the construction and installation of control panels.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A time-served electrician/instrument technician qualification with experience in testing industrial control panels, on-site installation work, and commissioning of systems.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematics drawings.
  • Citizenship & Guilds- 2391 Test & Inspection certification.
