Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our construction and pre-commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation inspection activities are performed in accordance with project requirements and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with contractors to ensure that on-site and off-site requirements meet project-specific standards and specifications.
- Review construction and pre-commissioning activities to ensure alignment with technical specifications and external technical interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with the latest pre-commissioning procedures and drawings.
- Solve on-site pre-commissioning problems during EPC phases.
- Monitor and report pre-commissioning activities, perform site inspections and tests, and provide support to the Quality team.
- Sign pre-commissioning documentation as requested and check as-built documentation and records.
- CompEx – Ex01-Ex04 (Gas), City and Guilds, ONC/HNC, ATEX qualifications.
- Experience in pre-commissioning in the Petrochemical Industry, use of Distributed Control System (DCS) and Completions Management System (CMS).
- Experience with Honeywell DCS, Wood GoTechnology (QEDI) CMS, and Emerson Process instrumentation.
