About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise
