Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Researcher to join our team at the Machine Learning Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NLP and deep learning, with a solid understanding of machine learning methods and experience with big data and scalable model training.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop state-of-the-art machine learning models to solve real-world problems, applying sophisticated machine learning methods to a wide variety of complex tasks.
  2. Collaborate with multiple partner teams to deploy solutions into production, working in a highly collaborative environment.
  3. Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study, attending industry-leading conferences, and participating in our knowledge sharing community.
  4. Drive Firm-wide initiatives by developing large-scale frameworks to accelerate the application of machine learning models across different areas of the business.

Requirements

  1. PhD in a quantitative discipline, e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, or Data Science, with reasonable industry experience, or an MS with industry or research experience in the field.
  2. Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits and experience with big data and scalable model training.
  3. Strong analytical thinking, a deep desire to learn, and be highly motivated.
  4. Ability to design experiments and training frameworks, and to outline and evaluate intrinsic and extrinsic metrics for model performance aligned with business goals.
