About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in special schools or the care industry and possess strong English skills. A car is also required for this role.

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including free specialist training, a recommend a friend bonus scheme, subsidised DBS cost, guaranteed work scheme, and specialist support/mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORTING STUDENTS IN ACCESSING LESSONS
  • MANAGING CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR
  • PROVIDING SELF-REGULATION SUPPORT
  • PRIORITISING PUPILS' SAFETY AND WELFARE
  • OFFERING FEEDBACK TO TEACHERS
  • FACILITATING PERSONALISED LEARNING

Essential Criteria:

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SPECIAL SCHOOLS OR THE CARE INDUSTRY
  • STRONG ENGLISH SKILLS
  • HIGH RESILIENCE
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • A car is also required
