Senior Quality Advisor

We are Seaway7, a leading provider of offshore wind solutions, seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Advisor to join our team in Aberdeen, UK.

About the Role

The Senior Quality Advisor will be responsible for managing all project quality activities, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal management system requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project quality plans, ensuring effective quality management across all aspects of operations.
  • Lead and deliver a Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) quality management approach, driving continuous improvement and quality excellence.
  • Manage quality assurance and control support across the supply chain, including risk and criticality assessment, QA/QC strategy development, and inspection assignments.
  • Monitor and track QC inspection spend and budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Support delivery of Seaway7's predictable performance objectives, driving quality performance improvement and excellence.
  • Lead project performance reviews, trend analysis, and identification of areas for improvement, collaborating with project teams to drive quality excellence.
  • Undertake quality discipline reviews on Employer, internal engineering, and operations documents, ensuring alignment with quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project Master Document Register (MDR), ensuring inclusion of all quality deliverables.
  • Lead development of risk-based project audit plans and delivery of audit programmes, ensuring effective quality management.
  • Support project team quality training and mentorship, driving quality excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide quality input to project weekly/monthly reports, ensuring effective communication and quality management.
Requirements
  • Proven application of quality discipline within projects and operations, with previous experience in supervising and mentoring quality personnel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards, contractual mechanisms, and technical codes and standards as applied in the UK Renewables or Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, IT literacy, and report writing skills, with the ability to present and discuss quality discipline within project and operations teams.
