About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with complex needs in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities in a challenging environment.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality.
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events.
  • Accurately record and maintain notes and records as required.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide exceptional care and support.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with a willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Desire and commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
  • Driver preferred, with a working knowledge of the PBS approach.
