Job Summary:

Sheridan Maine is seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process and code purchase ledger and sales invoices with precision and attention to detail
* Prepare and execute mid-month and month-end payment runs with minimal errors
* Verify invoices and purchase orders for approval prior to payment processing
* Manage employee expenses and credit card charges in accordance with corporate policies
* Reconcile daily bank entries and perform reconciliations with accuracy
* Maintain and manage the Aged Creditors report effectively
* Set up new suppliers and subcontractors, confirming CIS status
* Liaise with various departments on transactional matters, resolving queries efficiently
* Regularly reconcile supplier statements and intercompany recharges

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a transactional support role within a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset
* Team player with a keen interest in supporting the wider finance team
* Knowledge of VAT and CIS regulations is highly desirable
* Excellent IT skills
